As a members organisation parts of our site invite you to subscribe to Nanoforum to obtain more information on nanotechnology and our activities. For our membership, we ask for your name and email address. Besides this personal information, we also collect information relating to the way you use our site, such as what pages you visit or what information you search for, and information such as your IP address or browser type. However, this data is not associated with your personal information. Instead, we use this "anonymous data" to operate our site and statistically to improve our site, for example by identifying which parts of our site especially interest users as a group. You may change your email address on file with us as necessary, or cancel your request for membership. With your permission, we may also use contact information to send you information about our products and services. Even if you choose not to receive such information from us, we reserve the right to use your contact information if we consider it necessary to send you crucial information or in other unusual circumstances.

It also provides information on some of the societal implications of nanotechnology, some of the myths and a timeline of some of the key nanotechnology developments.
