COOREERS
Cooreers is an EU, FP6 (Sixth Framework Program) funded project in the thematic area of NanoMatPro (Nanotechnologies, materials engineering and Production – NMP) for National Contact Points (NCPs). This CO-ORdination by Best Practice exchange and Knowledge building by NMP - NCPs in an Enlarged European Research Society aimed at improving in an enlarged Europe a better integration of research actors and activities in the field of NMP. So the major focus of this Co-ordination Action (CA) project is that of the enhancement of the participation of research organisations and companies in FP6 and in bringing them to research.
NANOTOX and Impart
Nanotox: This EU funded specific support action (SSA) will contribute to the improvement of safety of nanoparticles by documenting potential methods of dispersal and contamination by nanoparticles and agglomerated nanocrystals.
Impart: This coordination Action (CA) aims at improving the understanding of the impact of nanoparticles on human health and the environment.
WomenInNano
This specific support action (SSA) aims at encouraging young women to study and pursue careers in nanotechnologies and nanosciences.

NANOLOGUE
This EU funded specific support action aims at facilitating a dialogue on the social, ethical and legal benefits and potential impacts of nanotechnology.
NANO DIALOGUE
This EU funded specific support action aims at provoking and facilitating social dialogue between the research community, citizens and other stakeholder organisations.
IP Nanoker
The objective of this Integrated Project (IP) is to provide and industrialize knowledge-based nanoceramics (<100 nm) and nanocomposites (second phases <10 nm) for top-end functional and structural applications that are beyond reach with incremental materials development only.

NanoBio-RAISE
NanoBio-RAISE combines ethics research in nanobiotechnology with science communication. This interdisciplinary project brings together nanobiotechnologists, ethicists and communication specialists with the aims to anticipate the societal and ethical issues likely to arise as nanobiotechnologies develop and to use the lessons from the GM debate to respond to the probable public concerns. NanoBio-RAISE is a 6th Framework Programme Science & Society Co-ordination Action funded by the European Commission.
EPISTEP
EPISTEP is an innovative project supported by the EU "Research and Innovation" strand of the 6th Framework Programme to enhance SME participation in IST European Technology Platforms (ETP) in the Sixth and Seventh Framework Programme.

Safenano Initiative
The Safenano Initiative is a venture by the Institute of Occupational Medicine (IOM). The initiative was designed to help industrial and academic communities to quantify and control the risks to their workforce, as well as to consumers, the general population and the environment, through both information provision and consultancy services.
