CCI (Chamber for Trade and Industry)

Regional Network for Technological Development (RTD)

CRITT (Regional Centre for Innovation and Technological Transfer)
Consultants in technological development satisfy SMEs' technological needs. Some CRITT are close involved with nanotechnology.


Tax relief, relief on charges and other privileges

Credit for Research Expenses (CIR-Crédit d'Impôt Recherche)
It aims at supporting corporate R&D investments by means of tax incentives. SMEs are the main beneficiaries of the CIR.

JEI (Young Innovative Company)
It helps young innovative firms to overcome the difficult first years of existence by extending them tax credits in favour of R&D investments.


Measures supporting SMEs development

Support for the recruitment of technicians on innovative projects (CORTECHS)
It aims to support the recruitment of a technician, for one year, within SME willing to develop an innovative project.

BSA (Bon de souscription de parts de créateurs d'entreprises)
It assists technology-based start ups, and takes the form of a grant covering no more than 50% of the costs of the project.


Investment and financial support

PNANO
This programme launched in 2005 by GIP ANR (National Agency for Research) coordinates and supports nanotechnology activities. It targets all the actors of nanosciences and nanotechnologies and concerns industrial upstream and applied projects.

OSEO
OSEO offers differents kind of financial support including competitions.

Emertec 2
The Emertec 2 Fund is a seed financing fund which will invest in micro and nanotechnologies, mainly in the semiconductor sector, favouring companies with high growth potential based in Western Europe.
