NANOMAT and has importance to material technology for the sustainable growth of
Norwegian Industry. It focuses on selected areas of nanotechnology and in
particular novel functional materials, with a main aim of bringing international
standards to Norwegian research.
The Foundation for Scientific and Industrial Research at the Norwegian Institute of Technology
is the largest independent research organisation in Scandinavia, and fourth largest in Europe. SINTEF consists of six research divisions: Health Research; ICT; Marine; Materials and Chemistry; Petroleum and Energy; Technology and Society.SINTEF commercialises research through selling technology, licensing or establishing new spin-off companies.
