EuroIndiaNet

The EU funded EuroIndiaNet project aims to stimulate collaborations in nanotechnology between European and Indian researchers, companies and policy makers. During this one year project (2006-2007) an analysis is being made of gaps in relevant policies, support structures and training. A who's who of 80 European and 40 Indian leading persons in nanotechnology and a website are being prepared to assist in identifying partners. The results are made available online in a website which also includes a discussion forum. Furthermore, EuroIndiaNet is preparing a platform strategy regarding which discussion took place at a workshop (held september 2006 in Porto, Portugal) and will continue at a final conference (2-3 March 2007 in New Delhi). Interested parties who are engaged in collaborations between India and Europe on nanotechnology are invited to apply for membership.
